The scheme is a process whereby Ethnic minority undergraduates are linked with mentors - professionals from the world of work, in order to gain support and experience. It is a one to one relationship where students can improve their personal and professional skills and prepare for the entry into the world of work.
The scheme last for 6 months, from October/November through to April. Monthly Mentor and student meetings are held either at the mentors workplace, or another convenient location. Training and introduction events precede the start of the scheme in October/November.
Certificates are awarded to all the participants upon successful completion of the scheme.
